This
scholarship is the result of Parkdale Project Read and Ryerson University student Ken McLarnon’s idea to provide fellow students with assistance in their
post-secondary education endeavors.
In conjunction with Parkdale Project Read, the goal is to provide Scholarships to help cover the cost of tuition, books, and TTC bus passes for students who excel in preparatory studies with a commitment to the PPR community and have demonstrated outstanding work-ethic, attitude and scholastic achievement.
This goal will be achieved by offering a work of art created by Ken McLarnon, David Louis Wall or Juliet Gomes in exchange for contributions to the Scholarship. Contributors will receive a tax deductible receipt along with their beautiful piece of art.
